🏃 Fun Run 2026! 🏃♀️➡️
Friday, May 15th - 9:30 AM @ School Main Entrance
What is a Fun Run?
The Verdi Elementary School PFA Fun Run is our main Spring fundraiser. The entire student body gathers in front of the school and runs (or walks) one mile through the Verdi Lake Estates neighborhood. Many parents and teachers participate, volunteer, and accompany students on the run. Neighbors, staff, and local law enforcement join in the fun and cheer the kids on as they go. This is a free, non-competitive event and we want everyone to have fun! The run will conclude back at the main entrance of Verdi Elementary School with a celebration outside with color and fun!
We suggest your student bring an extra pair of clothing, socks, and shoes to change into after the run and celebration.
How does the Fun Run help Verdi Elementary?
Family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors will sponsor a student’s run with their pledges. This year's proceeds will go toward improving our playground and playground equipment. There are amazing prizes for the top seller in our lower grades (K-2) and the top seller in our upper grades (3-5). And the class in our lower and upper grades that raise the most money will each win a pizza party!
How do the sponsors/pledges work?
Students collect pledges online from sponsors by using the form below to pledge a dollar about and paying with a credit/debit card. Sponsors will be asked to fill out the student's name and class when pledging.
All pledges must be submitted by May 15th.
